Festive & Themed Races
Costumes optional. Fun mandatory.
Costumes, color throws, glow runs, holiday cheer — festive races are the best excuse to show up in a cape or a turkey hat and still cross the finish line like a champion. These events lean into their theme with decorations, music, and post-race parties that make the celebration the whole point.
Festive races calendar around holidays and seasons: Turkey Trots in November, Santa runs in December, color runs in spring and summer, glow 5Ks year-round. The overlap with community fundraising is intentional — a strong theme brings out runners who wouldn't otherwise enter a race.
If you're new to racing, festive events are a low-pressure introduction. Times rarely matter. Costumes are encouraged. The crowd is a mix of walkers, families, and seasoned runners all sharing the same course. Performance anxiety dissolves when someone passes you dressed as a giant candy corn.
