Race day (AI-assisted text)

Expect a lively evening atmosphere for this race, with packet pickup available the day before or on race day under the Big Peach tent. The Kids Fun Run kicks off first at 7:45 PM, followed by the main 5K for humans and dogs at 8:00 PM, so plan for a later start. Remember, all participating dogs need to be registered in advance with proof of rabies vaccination. The course will likely be well-marked and supported, creating a smooth experience for all participants.

The focus is on participation, enjoyment, and making a tangible difference for shelter dogs and inmates.

Weather snapshot (AI-assisted text)

Taking place in mid-April in Cumming, GA, you can generally expect mild to warm evening temperatures, though humidity can sometimes be a factor. It's wise to check the forecast closer to race day, but conditions should be pleasant for an evening run.

Terrain & course feel (AI-assisted text)

Given the race location at the New Forsyth County Administration Building and Freedom Parkway, the course is almost certainly on paved roads. Expect a relatively flat or gently rolling urban/suburban route, suitable for all paces and dog strollers.
