It is time to break out of your shell and come run like a chicken at the family friendly 2nd annual Southern Chicken Fried 25K and 50K.
The course is a 2-mile single track trail loop with plenty of trees, creek beds, challenging climbs, and more. Approximately 250' of elevation gain per loop. This is the same route as the “Rollin into the Night”.
There is no need to chicken out with the overly generous 12-hour cutoff.
There will be a single aid station and plenty of room to setup your own tables as well. Chicken feed (Aid station food) donations would be appreciated.
This is a completely free run. You only pay in sweat and hopefully not too many tears. Donations to help offset some of the cost are appreciated.
Runners will receive a custom bib and participation wooden medallion.
Check-in and bib pick-up between 7:00 AM and 7:50 AM ET.
The run starts at 8 AM ET.
