Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® – Alpha Gamma Eta Omega Chapter is proud to present our 3rd Annual Orange Peel to Pavement 5K Run/Walk, a signature community event rooted in purpose, wellness, and impact. As the 157th chartered chapter in the North Atlantic Region, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Hudson Valley, Alpha Gamma Eta Omega continues to soar under the award winning leadership of President Rasheena Wilson. Guided by our commitment to Soaring F.I.R.S.T., we remain dedicated to uplifting our community through Sisterhood, Service, and Scholarship. This year’s Orange Peel to Pavement 5K Run/Walk aims to raise awareness around mental health while supporting college scholarships for graduating high school seniors in Orange County, NY. Through this event, we also help sustain the meaningful community programs that make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve. Join us on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Montgomery, NY. Registration begins at 8:30 AM. Whether you’re running for a personal best or walking for a cause, this event offers something for everyone—including music, food, and a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere. Together, we run, walk, and uplift—for awareness, for education, and for our community.
