Who: PTC Running Club Members & area runners welcome (minors must be accompanied by parent/guardian)
What: Monthly Run Social (M.R.S.)- a fun run with a gaming element that is meant to be social and approachable for runners and walkers of varying abilities.
APRIL MRS - EARTH DAY CHALLENGE (walkers and runners welcome)
In honor of Earth Month, April's M.R.S. will be an Earth Day challenge. Participants will be provided a destination, and 10 minutes to decide the route they will use to get to that destination. They will also have to predict how long they believe it will take them to journey to that destination and back to the starting point.
A printed map will be provided to participants upon request, and all participants will start together once all routes and predicted times have been submitted. Participants will be ranked based on the accuracy of their time estimate.
Earth Day Conservation Challenge - all participants who bring back a piece of litter larger than a nickel as evidence of their conservation efforts will be ranked above those participants who do not bring back a piece of trash.
No watches, phones, or timing devices will be allowed while participating in this event.
