30th Anniversary Livestrong® 5K – 90’s Throwback Edition

Get ready to throw it back to the 90’s and celebrate 30 years of hope, healing, and community at the Livestrong® 5K Run & Walk! Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, this is more than a race, it’s a celebration of cancer survivors and the community that stands beside them.

Dust off your neon, grab your scrunchies, and rally your crew—it’s going to be totally rad.

👟 Event Day Timeline

Registration Opens – 7:30 AM Check in, grab your race gear, and get into the groove! Enjoy throwback music, a high-energy Zumba warm-up, pre-race snacks, and time to connect with your friends, family, and teammates.

90’s Vibes All Morning Long From the moment you arrive, you’ll be surrounded by music, energy, and retro fun to get you pumped for the race.

Shotgun Start – 8:30 AM Runners take off first, followed by walkers. Whether you're racing for a personal best or strolling with your team, every step supports cancer survivors.

Post-Race Celebration Cool down and celebrate with your fellow participants! Enjoy fun treats like ice cream, music, and community connection as we honor this incredible milestone together.

Awards Ceremony – Immediately Following the Race Celebrate our top finishers and teams!

Honoring the Hands That Heal – 30th Anniversary Tribute

In celebration of our 30th anniversary, we’re proud to recognize the incredible nurses and cancer caregivers who support survivors every day.

For every $300 raised by a team or individual, the YMCA will send a handwritten thank-you note and a small care package to a caregiver in our community.

Nominate a caregiver who made a difference in your journey and help us honor 30 inspiring individuals during this milestone year by filling out this nomination form.

Donation is not required to nominate. Nominations are independent of fundraising.

Why It Matters Funds raised support Livestrong® at the YMCA, a free 12-week program for cancer survivors. This program helps participants rebuild strength, reduce fatigue, and regain confidence in a supportive, welcoming environment.
