West St. Tammany YMCA is excited to announce our 3rd Annual 1 mile and 5K walk/run on Saturday, May 9, 2026.  Both events start and finish at the YMCA.  Route runs through neighboring Terra Bella.  YMCA's nationally recognized "HEALTHY KIDS DAY" events will immediately follow race. Bring your swim trunks.  Our pool will be open.  All participants are welcome to enjoy.

Be sure to register by April 30th to receive a race t-shirt.

NOT A RUNNER...NOT A PROBLEM! We encourage walkers, joggers, and runners to participate!

Early packet pick-up:   Friday, May 8th, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at West St. Tammany YMCA.

Race day itinerary:   7:00 am packet pick-up    8:00 am 1 mile    8:30 am 5K   IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING RACE everyone is welcome to enjoy Healthy Kids Day festivities.  This includes use of swimming pool and water slide!

Scoring & Awards:   Chip timed event.  Overall and age group awards presented after 5K

KIDZONE :  Register your littles into our KIDZONE for FREE!  They'll have fun while you run.  Afterwards everyone can enjoy HEALTHY KIDS DAY activities!

Proceeds benefit the financial assistance extended to anyone who can not otherwise afford services offered at the YMCA i.e. membership, youth sports, summer camp, swimming lessons, etc.
