Winter/Spring Distance Training and Cherry Blossom 5K-10M
February 7 – April 11
10 Week Program (CUCB is 4/12 for those racing)
Pre-Program Kickoff Event/Intros (optional run weather permitting): Arlington - Thursday, 1/29 at 6:30 PM, Reston/Ashburn, Vienna and Burke - Saturday, 1/31 at 8 AM
Program Cost: $135
Registration INCLUDES access to a GUARANTEED ENTRY (we will issue you a guaranteed code and you register for the race, but you do NOT need to enter the lottery, or you can STILL enter the race even if you have not succeeded in the lottery. You MUST register on your own for the race, sign the waiver, select your add-ons, etc., but we will give you the code to do it.)
Locations
Arlington/DC: Iwo Jima
Sundays: 8 AM, arrive at 7:45 AM. The Sunday meeting time allows for available off-street parking. The Arlington/DC location is convenient for runners from DC, Arlington, Alexandria, and Maryland. We'll typically meet at Iwo Jima but occasionally at Gateway Park or 34th/Water Street in Georgetown
Burke: =PR= Burke (and other area running venues)
Saturdays: 8 AM. Runs in area running venues and parks with occasional "field trips." Location is convenient for suburban runners from Burke, Springfield, Fairfax, Chantilly, Centreville and more.
Reston/Ashburn: =PR= Reston and Trailside MS (Ashburn) and other area running venues
Saturdays: 8 AM. Alternates between Reston and Ashburn locations. Runs on the W&OD (different sections!)with occasional "field trips." Location is convenient for suburban runners from Reston, Loudoun County.
Vienna: =PR= Vienna/Vienna W&OD at Caboose and other area running venues
Saturdays: 8 AM. Occasional "field trips." Location is convenient for suburban runners from Vienna, McLean, Oakton, Fairfax.
Virtual: You'll receive a training plan and email communications from your coach. You are welcome to drop in to a weekend training session if you are in the area -- just let us know in advance so we can be sure to give you the correct logistics for that week. Great option for those who have conflicts, or are not local to DC area.
NOTE: When sessions meet at a park, track, or other venue we cannot guarantee restrooom access.
