Race Purpose: The Wharton Council and the Wharton Roadrunners, in benefit of Kesem, are proud to present the 14th Annual Wharton 5K, the University of Pennsylvania’s largest 5K event. The main goal of the Wharton 5K is to bring together students, staff, and community members to give back to the Philadelphia community through a great cause: Kesem creates experiences and a lasting community to support children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. Location: Shoemaker Green, 33rd Street, between the Palestra and Franklin Field.

Awards: Top 1-3 overall (male & female), and special awards for the fastest team* and most spirited team. In addition, all teams (at least 5 participants) will be entered into a raffle for various giftcards and prizes.

*Fastest team is the lowest aggregate time of a team's 5 fastest runners (male or female).

Amenities: Free t-shirt (for the first 550 entrants), post-race festival, snacks, giveaways, and more!
