RACE INFORMATION

Run for the fun and benefits: Your health (exercise)

Registration is required and includes:  t-shirt, refreshments.

This 5K, 10K, Double, and Fun Run is open to all ages using CARA age categories for awards.  

 

RACE AGENDA

Date:     Saturday, May 23, 2026

Time:     8:30 a.m.—10K (6.2 miles) and The Double Run (10K and 5K)

              8:45 a.m.—Fun Run (< a mile)*

              9:30 a.m.—5K (3.1 miles)

Start/Finish: Grand Avenue Community Center | 4211 Grand Ave, Western Springs
      *Fun Run Start is at Chestnut and Grand, Fun Run Finish is at the official Finish Line on Lawn

 

Post Race:   Water, Gatorade, and refreshments will be provided for all runners.   

This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing.

The Double  

Double your fun!  Run Both!

The 10k starts on Grand Ave and finishes on Lawn Ave.  You must cross the 10k finish pad and cut through the parking lot to get to the 5k start on Grand Ave, which is just North of the parking lot.  If the 5k has already started, be sure your chip crosses the timing pad as you run South to start.

(Double runners receive a long sleeve shirt in lieu of short sleeve.) 

REGISTRATION

Online registration is available until 15 minutes prior to Start time.  Race prices increase $5 on Monday, May 11, 2026. Registration (online) will be available during Race Packet Pickup (see below).

RACE PACKET

Prior to race day, numbers, t-shirts and information can be picked up at the Grand Avenue Community Center, 4211 Grand Avenue, Western Springs, IL,  during the following hours:

                 • 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM | Friday, May 22, 2026

On race day, race packets will only be available at Grand Avenue Community Center.  

Doors open at 7:00 AM.

5K Walk - $35 Resident/$40 Non-Resident

5K Run - $35 Resident/$40 Non-Resident

10K - $40 Resident/$45 Non-Resident

The Double (5K & 10K) - $45 Resident/$45 Non-Resident

14 and under for all races - $25 Resident/$30 Non-Resident

Fun Run - $15 Resident/$15 Non-Resident

Registration after May 10, 2026

Add $5 to the fees above
