From the organizer

The "live" Run/Walk for Hunger 5K will be held in beautiful Winona Lake, Indiana. We are excited to be using the paved Heritage Trail in our run. The Heritage Trail, as stated by Indiana Trails, features water views, handsome town streets, deep woods and several pieces of trailside artwork that interpret the town’s values: kindness, virtue, generosity, community, gathering, beauty, respect, legacy, peace and love. Winona Lake is the home of rich and glorifying history...With the efforts of Winona Lake Restoration Company, Winona Lake has become a prime location for visitors and residents alike.

As always 100% of the net proceeds will go to local organizations to help fight poverty. Pre-registration ends March 1st. Shirts guaranteed only to pre-registered entries. Race day registration will open at 9:00 AM through 9:45 AM at the Winona Lake Senior Center (1500 Park Avenue, Winona Lake, IN 46590). Race begins at 10:00 AM.
