Tackle a unique 100-mile virtual challenge with your horse, tracking mileage on the honor system and connecting with a supportive online community.

What to expect (AI-assisted text)

This challenge offers a truly unique experience, inviting you and your horse to complete 100 miles together at your own pace. It's built on an honor system, fostering a spirit of personal achievement rather than head-to-head competition. The focus is on consistency and connection, with a vibrant Facebook community cheering everyone on to reach their individual goals. This challenge is perfect for horse owners looking for a long-term personal fitness goal they can share with their equine partner. It's also ideal for individuals who thrive on self-motivation and enjoy being part of a supportive, non-competitive online community.

WARHORSE 100 Mile Challenge
The WARHORSE 100 Mile Challenge is expected to be limited to 100 participants this year.  Welcome to the 4th Annual WARHORSE 100 Mile Challenge!   Whether you have joined each one we have hosted or this is your first one ever we welcome you!

Looking for a personal challenge for you & your horse to tackle together?  Join the WARHORSE 100 Mile Challenge.  WARHORSE Challenges work on the honor system and we are trusting you to track your personal mileage on your own.  You may track in the way that works best for you.  Some participants like to track in a notebook, calendar or a fitness app.   There is also a way to track online.   Remember, this is a personal 100 mile challenge, it is not a race nor is it a competition as all participants are starting at different times.  Some are walking their horse, hiking, driving a cart and many are riding, while some are running.   The one constant is that we are all committed to those 100 miles and to cheering each other on to complete that goal.

Consistency is key.

When we created WARHORSE 100 Mile Challenge, we wanted to create a challenge where we could be a part of each other's journey and to connect with others with the same goals.  This quest has led us to making our Facebook community so that sharing images, videos and communication with other participants would be easily done and seen through our WARHORSE Endurance Challenges on FB  We love to be your cheering section!  And then I get to send you your completion award in the form of some bling to celebrate the journey you and your horse have taken together.   We have been asked if we will open this Challenge to runners and cyclists, and the answer is YES!  We are creating this Challenge to encourage each other and set goals!  Getting moving with our horses or walking or running is the goal here, forward movement!   I am a firm believer in that you cannot improve on a habit that you don't currently own, and the WARHORSE Challenges help you to either reclaim that forward progress and own it, or if you are already an avid rider, hiker, runner or driver- it gives you beautiful milestones along the journey.

Bling
The design for this event is expect to be limited to 100 participant limit.  The WARHORSE 100 Mile Challenge will be offered each April, then close once the participant limit is reached

Earn a beautiful commemorative medal to go along with your 100 miles.  We are creating a lovely medal to commemorate the miles you have journeyed  together with your horse. This year we are including in the completion awards along with the commemorative medal, a patch and a dog tag with the same design.  Remember "No hour of time is wasted that is spent in the saddle!"- Churchill

*Price includes shipping to USA addresses only
*The shipping of a medal internationally is cost prohibitive, though we can ship a cloth patch of similar design.  It is up to you to notify us if you prefer patch mailed or medal shipped.  If you are outside of the US and wish to do this challenge,  please understand that we will pay for shipping a patch for an award for overseas, though not a medal.  If you'd like the medal, email us and let us know to ship internationally.  International shipping takes considerably longer than to USA as the added time to invoice for shipping.

Your Challenge at Your Pace
You decide, ride a few miles every day or maybe divided the mileage into one or more days per week or a few short rides during the week followed by a few extra miles of adventure on the weekend.  You set your pace, the days, the miles and if you aim for 25 week you will be finding yourself at 100 miles by the end of the month!  Or you can add up the miles over several weeks!  You decide what is right for you and your horse to create those 100 miles of memories with together.
