Join the movement! On Saturday, October 3, 2026, let’s celebrate Ostomy Awareness Day by participating in the Virtual Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k. This marks the 12th year of our empowering Virtual 5k event!

Complete the 5k your way—walk, run, roll, swim, pedal, or even count your steps on the journey leading up to the big day. Whether outdoors or on a treadmill at home, the choice is yours to celebrate resilience and unity in the ostomy community.

Gather your friends, family, colleagues, or fellow ASG members to honor this milestone together. Every step you take helps support UOAA’s vital mission. As a 501(c)(3) charity organization, your generous donations are tax deductible.

Together, let’s create awareness and celebrate 20+ years of progress, support, and resilience!

The Registration includes a unisex adult or youth size T-Shirt and Bib. So don't delay, register today to order the T-Shirt size you'd like to wear at the event.

Bib-Only Registrations: Those who register before Noon on Friday, September 25th will receive their 2026 Ostomy Awareness Day & Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k bib in the mail (USPS). If you register after this time, your Bib will be e-mailed to you.

CREATE OR JOIN A RACE GROUP/TEAM!

Once you’ve registered you also have the option to CREATE a new RACE GROUP/TEAM or to JOIN one that’s already been established. This is a great way to get others in your community to Register to Participate in the Run and compete against each other. Invite family, friends, co-workers to Register, join your Race Group/Team (or start their own), order their T-Shirt & Bib and celebrate the day with you! (Please note this is NOT a Team Fundraiser. To set up a Personal or Team Fundraiser, please go to the DONATE button.)

FUNDRAISING: Raise $150 or more and your Registration Fee will be refunded!

Fundraising is an important aspect of our Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K. Funds raised help UOAA continue to provide resources, educational materials, advocacy and support to the ostomy and continent diversion community.

We invite you to set up your own Personal or Team Fundraiser when registering to participate in the event, or through our DONATE button at the top of this page.
