Join us for the 5th Annual Northside Elementary Thoroughbred Trot 5K! This race is hosted by Northside Elementary School's PTO.

Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 3:00pm at Northside Elementary School & Walter Bradley Park in Midway, KY

RACE FEATURES:

Scenic country course on paved roadway surface Commemorative Race T-Shirts 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Fun Walk (untimed), Fastest Kid at Northside Races and Virtual Runner/Walker option Chip Timing (Thanks RaceRise!) Free Race Photos 5K Awards include Top 3 M/F Overall and 1st Place M/F in 14 age groups (0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75+) All 5K participants will receive a finishers medal Post race food, drink, fellowship and music PACKET PICKUP: Packet pickup will be held on Sunday, 4/19/26 (race day) from 12:30-2pm at the pavilion at Walter Bradley Park. There is no advanced day packet pickup this year.

FASTEST KID AT NORTHSIDE ELEMENTARY RACES These are races that will only be for Northside Elementary students (K-5th Grade). Those students who register for the 5K run/walk or 1 Mile fun run get to participate in the Fastest Kid races for FREE. The Fastest Kid races will take place at 2pm in the bus loop at Northside Elementary school. Each grade will have a race (Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th). The boy/girl winner in each grade will then have a run off with the other boy/girl winners from the other grades to determine the overall Fastest Kid at Northside. All participants of the Fastest Kid races will earn a participation medal.
