This family-friendly, fun event is just one of the ways we celebrate April as National Autism Awareness Month . The community is invited to join us at Lakeway Christian Academy located at 3720 Roy Messer Hwy. , White Pine, TN to participate in either the Superheroes 5K or 1 Mile Walk-a-thon.
Registration for the Superheroes 5k (runners only) will begin at 7:30 AM; the 5K will kick-off at 8:30 a.m. and will be professionally timed this year by WE RUN FASTER (Brent Hamer). $100 CASH PRIZE FOR 5K OVERALL TOP QUALIFIERS FOR BOTH MALE & FEMALE.
Registration for the Superheroes 1 Mile Walk-a-thon (walk / race walk) will begin at 9 a.m.; and this untimed event will kick-off at 10 a.m. on the track. Prize packs will be awarded to the TOP 3 Superheroes Walk-a-thon Participants who raise the most funds through donations / sponsorships!
Prizes will also be given for BEST Superheroes Costume -- all ages in both the 5k and Walk-a-thon!
