Weather snapshot (AI-assisted text)

Held in April in Winchester, VA, you can generally expect mild spring weather. Temperatures are usually comfortable for running, but it's wise to be prepared for anything from cool breezes to warmer, sunny conditions. A light jacket might be handy for pre-race, but layers are always a good idea for spring events.

Terrain & course feel (AI-assisted text)

The 5K course starts and finishes at Greenwood Mill Elementary School and winds through a residential area. Expect paved roads with some 'rolling hills,' meaning there will be gradual inclines and declines to keep things interesting, but likely no major climbs. It sounds like a typical road race with some elevation variation.
