It's that time of year again! Fit Together Fitness RC is excited about the return of the 6th annual Summer Heat 5K run/walk! We cordially invite y'all to join us on the Old Fort King Trail for another adventurous trot, down by the majestic, Flint Creek. We will get to experience all the beautiful scenery and wildlife the Lord has placed in this magnificence area of the woods. Just past Fellowship Baptist Church in lovely Thonotosassa. We will have the privilege to share the area with its inhabitants. Please be aware of wildlife, uneven terrain, hills, rocks, water. Any and all of nature should be admired and respected but always pay attention and be cautious. Awards will include: first overall male and female. Masters, male and female. As well as the top 3 participants in their respective category, in 10 year age groups. All participants will receive a race medal. At that time we will also have a brief Gospel presentation. This year a percentage of the proceeds will go to help out our global missions partners at The Timothy Initiative to plant a second church. As well as our continued annual support of the Steps for Stetson's 5K for our good friends at Stetsons Ministries.
*Please note due to safety concerns you must be able to 1)hear directions (no headphones) in case of emergency or other information from course officials. 2) There are no strollers or pets allowed (support animals are permitted) on course during the 5k event. 3) Also any younger children will need to be accompanied by an adult. Sorry for any inconvenience.
