Run The Race 5k & 1 Mile

Come out and 'run the race' with us! With this 5k run and 1 Mile Fun Run there will be opportunity for you to enjoy yourself while being an active part of serving your community. Join us as we raise support for local international families, students, and those most vulnerable in those communities in the Auburn/Opelika area.

For those uber-competitive runners, there will be a reward for running the race, bring your best and take home either a pair of Mount to Coast R1s for 1st place, a $75 gift card to 'Love to Run Auburn' for 2nd place, or a $50 gift card to 'Love to Run Auburn' for 3rd place, each respectively in the 5k run. For the 1-Miler the first three to the finish will receive a book gift!

Founded on the word in Hebrews 12:1-3, Run the Race seeks to encourage the body of Christ to run the race that is set before them, as well as to point all to the beauty of knowing Jesus Christ as Savior, Lord, and Friend. Through service, fellowship, and day-to-day benevolence Run The Race looks to encourage one community at a time by one person at a time, all to the glory of Christ Jesus, the finisher and perfecter of faith. Run The Race also seeks to encourage fitness in mind, spirit, and body!

Whether you are able to join us on May 2nd, 2026 to  run the race or only give remotely, your contributions are greatly appreciated and will go directly to the support of local international; families, students, and those in that community in need of financial, legal, and administrative assistance. never overhead nor a middleman! This race and fundraiser is 100% Run The Race funded, so that means absolutely no overhead nor middlemen, only your loving support directly to the mission of serving local internationals!

Location:  The race will start at Town Creek Park with the 1 Miler kicking off at 8:00am and the 5k proceeding at 8:30am!

7:00am-7:45am Final Packet Pickup/Race Day Registration 8:00am 1-Mile Start 8:30am 5k Start Race Day T-Shirts guaranteed to those registered before April 2, 2026

Race day registrations are priced higher/advisement to register by initial deadline to avoid cost of late registration/ Race Day Registration for 1 Mile: $35, 5k: $45.

Race Morning-Town Creek Park 7:00am-7:45am
