With its unique location, it played a pivotal role in the War for Independence. Black Rock then became

a major trading and shipbuilding center for CT.  In the last fifty years, it has transitioned into a thriving

We CAN switch bibs for you BEFORE the start! Just ask us.

WE NEED YOUR HELP FOR A SAFE & SMOOTH START - If you are truly at a speedy running level

(6-7min pace per mile or under) we urge you to be at the FRONT of the start and ready to go at 9 am .

This will avoid crowding on the course and help everyone to run more safely. Thanks!

ON THE COURSE - We ask you to stay safe, announce if you are passing from behind, and not to run in groups.

PLEASE DO NOT USE EARPODS, HEADPHONES, etc., which will keep you from responding to safety instructions,

traffic, emergency situations, and the wonderful sounds from our neighborhood and cheering fans!

PLEASE BE AWARE OF EACHOTHER'S PERSONAL SPACE- STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY.

We will follow all state and city guidelines as it pertains to outdoor events.
