Benefitting Virginia’s House:

Virginia’s House – A Family Resource Center was established in 1992, under the name of the Young County Family Resource Center, and is a non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to meeting the needs of abused, neglected, and traumatized children. The name was changed to Virginia's House In 2007. In 2009, Dr. Goodall's House, a satellite office in Breckenridge, was opened to better serve Stephens County.

The Center’s primary purpose is to help children and their families who suffer from all types of abuse, as well as help children in situations of risk. The Center serves as a Referral Agency for the local communities and houses several different programs:  CAC (Children’s Advocacy Center), CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), Program, Crime Victim’s Assistance Program, and Mentor Programs in partnership with Graham ISD, Olney ISD, Newcastle ISD, and Breckenridge ISD.  Virginia’s House serves Young, Stephens, and Throckmorton Counties.
