Join us for the "Run for a New Day" 5K in beautiful Galveston, TX! This inspiring event is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and mental health initiatives. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to support a great cause, this event is perfect for everyone.
Event Details:

Race Start : 7:30am
Location : Galveston Island Brewing (8423 Stewart Rd. Galveston, TX 77554)

Route : Start and Finish is at Galveston Island Brewing. The route will go west on Stewart Road, south on 85th, and then west on the Seawall. Water Stop located at the turnaround.
Awards : Overall Male & Female, Age Groups Awards 1st-3rd Place: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up.
By participating in the "Run for a New Day" 5K, you'll be making a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by mental health challenges and suicide. Your support will help AFSP continue their vital work in research, education, advocacy, and support for those affected by suicide. As AFSP states, "By creating a culture that’s smart about mental health, advocating for legislative policies that make suicide prevention a priority, and funding innovative research, we can save lives."
