Run to Climax

About This Event:

Join us for the 31st annual Run To Climax!  This is a scenic Memorial Day race with profits going to our local elementary school. Your participation helps fund materials and activities provided by the Climax-Scotts PTO. Thank you for your support!

Come for the run, stay for more fun! Hang around after the race for the Climax Memorial Day Parade at 10:00, followed by activities at the high school like the classic car show and craft booths.

Important Change:

Due to the increased amount of activities and traffic, we will be closing streets to ensure the safety of our runners. Because of this, runners need to plan on finishing within a 1 hour time frame. This means the race will end at 9:00 a.m. and anyone still on the race course will need to move out of traffic's way and continue at their own risk. Thank you for understanding that safety is our top priority.

Event Times: 

• Sunday May 24th Packet Pickup and Late Registration - 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the park next to the library
• Monday May 25th Race Day Packet Pickup - 7:00 am - 7:50 am at the Climax United Methodist Church
• Monday May 25th - 8:00 am  1 Mile Fun Run
• Monday May 25th - 8:00 am  7K Race begin 

Registration Fees: 

7K Run

• $25 Early Registration (now through April 30, 2026)
• $30 Late Registration (May 1st – May 23, 2026) **Online Pre-Registration Ends on May 23rd (11:59 pm)
• $35 Sunday and Same Day Registration
• Tee shirts are included in race fee if registered by May 10th. 
• Families of 3 or more will receive a $5 discount each if registered together. 

1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

• $5 Early Registration (now through April 30, 2026)
• $5 Late Registration (May 1st – May 23, 2026) **Online Pre-Registration Ends on May 24th (11:59 pm)
• $5 Sunday and Same Day Registration
• Children 5 and under are free
• Tee shirts may be purchased during registration for an extra $12 (While supplies last)

 

Registration Includes:

Awards: 

• Overall Male and Female
• Top 3 finishers for the following categories:  14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and Over
   

Tee Shirts:

To be guaranteed a tee shirt, registration must be completed before May 10th (11:59 pm).  A limited amount of extra tee shirts will be ordered but will be available on a "First Come First Serve" basis during packet pickup (race day).

Provided by MAC's Sports Timing - Results will be posted LIVE on RunSignUp and during the event and online at www.macssportstiming.com
