Race for a Legacy 5K- Hosted by Legacy of Honor

Come join us for our second annual Race for a Legacy 5K to support a great cause!  The event takes place on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, at Louisville High School.

 

- Registration includes a participant t-shirt!

 

- We will have a DJ, some first responder vehicles, and student groups to provide fun and activities before and after the race.  

 

- The race starts in a neighborhood, takes participants on a paved trail, and ends in the school parking lot.

 

By participating in this 5K you will be donating directly to Legacy of Honor. 

• Legacy of Honor is a 501 c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to serve those who serve us in our community. 
• The focus is to serve, support, and help first responders, active military, veterans and their families. 
• Legacy of Honor has 3 pillars that it focuses on. Operation Bootstrap, Operation RAK (Random Acts of Kindness), and being a Community Event Partner.
• Legacy of Honor's main focus in 2025-2026 is supporting our local hero's mental health.

The race starts/finishes at Louisville High School.  The 5K is professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.

 

Race day registration and packet pick-up take place from 8:00am-8:45am.

 

The 5K run/walk begins at 9:00am.
