Join the Louisville Bicycle Club for the 46th Annual Old Kentucky Home Bicycle Tour (OKHT) and experience the beauty of a Kentucky summer from the saddle.

Set in the scenic rolling hills of Oldham County, this classic late-summer ride offers something for every cyclist — whether you’re chasing a 100K challenge or enjoying a relaxed cruise with friends.

Choose Your Distance

  • 🚴 62.1 Miles (100K)
  • 🚴 40 Miles
  • 🚴 20 Miles

All routes feature picturesque country roads, horse farms, and the signature rolling hills that make this ride a Kentucky favorite.

Start, Finish & After-Party
The ride begins and ends at 3rd Turn Oldham Gardens, where riders will gather for a post-ride celebration, lunch, and community festivities. It’s the perfect place to relax, refuel, and celebrate your accomplishment.

Rest Stops & Community Impact
The Tour includes three fully supported rest stops. All distances will enjoy a stop at our legendary “World Famous” Homemade Cookie Stop, featuring dozens of baked goods prepared by Louisville Bicycle Club members.

In 2026, we’re proud to partner with local non-profits to help operate our rest stops. A portion of proceeds will support these organizations, giving back to the community that makes this event possible.

Returning for 2026
🏅 All riders will receive a commemorative Finisher’s Medal to celebrate completing the ride!

Weekend Kickoff
The Louisville Bicycle Club will host:

  • Friday Afternoon Open Ride
  • Packet Pickup

Make it a full weekend of cycling and community.

A Kentucky Tradition Since 1974
The Old Kentucky Home Bicycle Tour was founded in 1974 by Stewart Prather and fellow Louisville Bicycle Club members. Originally routed to Bardstown, Kentucky, the event now tours the beautiful roads of Oldham County.

While the start and finish locations have evolved, the mission remains the same — to celebrate the backroads of our Old Kentucky Home. In honor of Stewart, we proudly keep the name OKHT.

This event takes place rain or shine.

Register today and experience one of Kentucky’s longest-running and most beloved cycling traditions.
