NATIONAL LATINA DAY 5K
Celebrate strength, culture, and community in motion. Join us for our annual National Latina Day Virtual 5K, a global celebration of Latina empowerment, identity, and resilience. This year’s theme, “Unstoppable in Her Power,” honors the fearless energy and leadership of Latinas everywhere.
Whether you’re running for your health, your heritage, or your voice—this event is for you.
Date: August 1–31
Location: Anywhere — This is a virtual event with a few in-person options.
Distance: 5K (3.1 miles) — Walk, run, or jog at your own pace
You can complete your 5K anytime between August 1st and August 31st, with August 20th (National Latina Day) as the official day of celebration. Whether you choose to run on the 20th or any day throughout the month, your participation supports and uplifts the Latina community. Want to join an in-person community run? Select the in-person option during registration.
This year’s theme recognizes the unshakable power that Latinas bring to every space. From the track to the boardroom, from the classroom to the community, Latinas are leading with purpose, pride, and power. We invite you to run with us in celebration of that unstoppable force.

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN? A virtual run is a run that can be run or walked from any location you desire. Run, jog, or walk on the road, trail, treadmill, gym or even a track (or even at another race). You run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself.
TIPS FOR YOUR VIRTUAL RUN 1. Be safe – Follow appropriate social distancing guidelines. If you feel ill, please stay at home. 2. Plan your course ahead of time – Consider using an app like Strava to plan your routes. Join our strava group HERE 3. Tell someone about your runs – It establishes accountability to complete it! 4. Run when it works for you. 5. Have fun! – You are exercising, enjoying a month long celebration and supporting a good cause!
