Why Move Beloit? Move Beloit was inspired by the lifelong community involvement and activism of Beloiter David F. Luebke. David received accolades for his athletic achievements through the years, but he was perhaps most well-known for tirelessly promoting his hometown. He first worked to improve the community through many decades in education, and later became City Council President and involved in numerous boards and volunteer organizations. He was a supporter of the arts, especially music, film, and theater. Move Beloit celebrates his passions and spirit while advancing the wellness and strength of our community.
