Introducing Misty's Legacy 100 MILE CHALLENGE: Preserving the Beebe Ranch on Chincoteague Island, Virginia

Inspired by the beloved book and movie, Misty of Chincoteague Island, we present Misty's Legacy 100 MILE CHALLENGE. Lace up your walking shoes or saddle up your horse, and embark on a memorable journey to save the historic Beebe Ranch.

The Beebe Ranch, once a sprawling 100-acre farm, is now reduced to a mere 10 acres. Two descendants of Misty, the iconic horse from the book, still call this place home. The Museum of Chincoteague Island is on the cusp of acquiring the ranch, and our virtual event aims to contribute to their fundraising efforts.

Hosted by WARHORSE Endurance Challenges, Misty's Legacy 100 MILE CHALLENGE invites riders, walkers, and nature enthusiasts alike to participate. The event is open limited in the number of participants, so secure your spot now!

How does it work? It's simple. You can take as many days as you need to complete the 100-mile challenge. Whether you choose to accumulate your miles over a month or stretch it out over a year, the choice is yours. Life gets busy, and if you veer off track, no worries—simply pick up where you left off. $5 per entry is donated by our company to the charity. 

Immerse yourself in the adventure that awaits! As you conquer each mile, share your progress with our vibrant Facebook group. Post photos, videos, and updates, and inspire fellow participants with your journey. Together, we'll celebrate the preservation of Misty's legacy and the future of the Beebe Ranch.

In the spirit of camaraderie, the WARHORSE Endurance Challenges, as always,  operates on the honor system.  We trust you to track your own mileage in a way that suits you best. Whether it's through a notebook, calendar, fitness app, or online tracking, the goal remains the same—to reach your personal 100-mile milestone.

Consistency is key in this challenge. By joining our Facebook community, you'll connect with like-minded individuals who share your goals. Together, we'll be your cheerleaders, supporting you every step, trot, or hike of the way. Once you complete the challenge, we'll send you a special completion award—an exquisite commemorative medal to honor, embroidered patch and sticker to mark the miles you've conquered with your horse. This year, we've also included a patch and a dog tag featuring a unique design.

Misty’s Legacy 100 Mile Challenge is not limited to equestrians alone. Runners and cyclists are welcome to participate, promoting a sense of community and encouraging one another to achieve their goals. Forward movement is our common purpose, whether on horseback, on foot, or on wheels.

Please note that the price includes shipping to addresses within the USA. International participants will receive a cloth patch instead of a medal due to shipping costs. If you're located outside the US and prefer to receive a medal, please email us to make arrangements.
