Miles at the Moose A Scenic Race for a Great Cause
Join us at the picturesque Moose Ridge Golf Course in South Lyon, MI, for Miles at the Moose—a one-of-a-kind race event supporting the Rogel Cancer Center Breast Cancer Program at U of M Medicine.
Event Details Date: Saturday, October 10th, 2026 Location: Moose Ridge Golf Course 11801 Doane Rd, South Lyon, MI 48178
Race Start Times 1K Kids Run: 8:30 AM 5K Run/Walk: 9:00 AM Races & Registration Registration includes a commemorative hat and finisher medal.
5K Run/Walk Early Registration (by Sept. 1st, 2026): $45 General Registration: $50 1K Kids Run Early Registration (by Sept. 1st, 2026): $25 General Registration: $30 Online Pre-Registration: Available through October 9th Race Day Registration: Opens at 7:30 AM on-site Note: Hats and medals are not guaranteed on Race Day for registrations after Sept. 10th. Late registrants receive their items by mail in late November if extras run out on Race Day.

FAQs Are dogs allowed? No. To protect local wildlife and ensure participant safety, dogs are not permitted on the course during the event.
Are strollers allowed? Yes, strollers are welcome. However, for your safety and other participants please start near the back to avoid congestion at the starting line. No need to register stroller-aged children unless you’d like them to receive a hat and medal.
What ages can participate in the 1K? Typically ages 2–10, but there is no strict age limit.
Can parents run the 1K with their kids? Absolutely. Parents may join without registering unless they’d like a medal and hat.
Are refunds available? We cannot issue refunds after registration, as your items are ordered immediately. If you’re unable to attend, please contact us—we’ll do our best to arrange pickup or mailing of your items.
