The Milbridge Days 5K and Fun Run return for the annual Milbridge Days Celebration in beautiful Downeast Maine. This 3.1-mile wheel-measured course starts on the corner of Fickett's Point Road and Bay View Road. It is an out-and-back trip down Fickett's Point Road overlooking Narraguagas Bay. The Kid's Fun Run is one mile—1/2 mile up Fickett’s Point Road and back. Bold Coast Runners time the race.
All the funds raised will go to Incredible Edible Milbridge, a program of Women for Healthy Rural Living (WHRL). WHRL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2004. Their most extensive program, Incredible Edible Milbridge, nourishes their community by growing organic vegetables in free pick-your-own gardens and educational workshops. Produce can be harvested from the small, raised beds around town, in the garden next to the Red Barn Motel, or at Milbridge Commons Wellness Park.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION - 5K
Early Bird Registration is $25 through Tuesday, July 21st. Race day registration is $30. Participants who register by July 1st are guaranteed a race t-shirt! After July 1, tees will be available while supplies last. Day of registration: 7:00 - 7:45 am at the corner of Bay View Road and Fickett's Point Road. 5K begins at 8:30 am. Pre-registration is not available for the Fun Run. Day of Registration: 7:00 - 7:45 a.m. at the corner of Bay View Road and Fickett's Point Road. $5 per registrant. Runners must be younger than 14 to participate. Fun Run begins at 8 am, and 5K begins at 8:30 am. AWARDS
