From the organizer

The Color Fun Run is an event that combines a 5K precision timed run while also giving walkers the opportunity to participate as well. "Color" is thrown at participants at intervals along the route, a route which takes place primarily on the Skewarkee Rail Trail.

Registration: 5K Run (Timed)- $30; $35 day of race 5K Walk (Untimed) $25; $30 day of race Children Under 8 Free (shirts not provided, but may be purchased for a fee of $15)

T-Shirts will be provided in the requested size if registered before May 1, 2026. Extra shirts will be available while they last.

Course Description The main course is the Skewarkee Rail Trail with a short stretch of the race on a street adjacent to the Trail. The Trail is an former CSX rail line that continues up to the Roanoke River boat landing. Participants will turn around at this point and go back to the starting point which is the finish line. The trail is a flat scenic route and shaded along the majority of the route.

All profits go to support the arts programming and operations of the Martin County Arts Council.
