Marshall Elementary School 5K

The annual Marshall Elementary School 5k will bring the school and community together for a run/walk event beginning and ending in Grove Park in South Orange, NJ. Runners and walkers of all ages, speeds, and styles are welcome to participate!

There will also be a 1 mile Fun Run before the 5K race begins, so whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun time with friends and family, this event is perfect for everyone! Through this run, we'll foster confidence, resilience, and a stronger, healthier community for a brighter tomorrow while also fundraising for the Marshall Elementary School PTA.

If you're looking to PR in the 5K this flat and fun course is perfect! We will have a cheering squad along the way to keep the energy high and encourage all our participants to run, walk, or roll their way to the finish line.

BIB PICK UP You can pick up your BIB on race day between 8:30 am and 9:30 am in Grove Park. All participants will be picking up their BIBs in this time frame — so the earlier you can arrive, the better. Look for the "BIB pick up" sign when you enter the park. You will need the confirmation email you received when you registered. If you would like to pick up a BIB for yourself and another participant, you must have their confirmation email. Please do not be late!

Please note: Participants in the 1 mile Fun Run do NOT need a race BIB.

PARKING There will be street parking, but please note the roads will be closed along the 5K route. Plan ahead and allow for enough time to get to the park on time.

COURSE MAP The course map can be viewed here . We will have volunteers stationed along the route, together with clear signage.
