Join us for our annual Luray Police Foundation 5K! We will be hosting this 5K again on the Saturday ending National Police Week. National Police Week honors law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty while recognizing the dedication and sacrifice of those who continue to serve. This 5K is a tribute to their bravery, supporting initiatives that assist officers and their families. Lace up your running shoes and show your appreciation for their dedication and bravery. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, your participation helps make a difference.
This year's event is extra special to us because the Luray Police Department will be welcoming two new K9s to our team, K9 Summer and K9 Skye. Both will be there for everyone to meet along with their K9 handlers Officer Munson and Officer Vickers. K9 Summer and K9 Skye are trained in narcotics detection and article searches, and are a valuable addition to our department! We cannot wait for you to meet them!
Pets are welcomed and must be leashed. Please follow the rules for the Luray Greenway.
All sign-ups up until April 15th are guaranteed a t-shirt. However, there may be extras on race day!
Any questions or concerns, please contact Leah George at lgeorge@townofluray.com or 540-743-5343.
