From the organizer

Come run for us!  Join us for a ¼ Mile Kids Fun Run (ages 10 and Under) and an officially timed 5K Run at Ledyard Center Town Green. Proceeds benefit the Ledyard Soccer Club, a 501c volunteer-run organization!

Medals will be given to all Kids Fun Run participants!

The first 100 registrants for the 5K will get a T-Shirt commemorating the event!

Medals and special gifts for the top finishers!

Joining us for this special event will be the Ledyard Middle School PTO offering refreshments and swag/gear!

Race times: ¼ Mile Fun Run @ 9:30am 5K Race @ 10am

Place: Ledyard Center

Directions: Please follow the address to 740 Colonel Ledyard Highway, represented by the green dot on the map.

Parking:  Plenty of parking in the back lot which can be accessed via 740 Colonel Ledyard Highway or via the road labeled "Town Green" near the Ledyard Congregational church.

Running Route: This run will take you out of the town center and all the way over to the high school and back utilizing the new multi-use pathway. It's an out and back route.

You will start at the top of the Town Green, head down the backside of the Ledyard Congregational Church and connect with the Town Green Rd. You will take a left onto Colonel Ledyard Highway and run DOWN the path to Gallup Hill Rd. Go straight up Gallup Hill Rd just a bit and enter the high school's TOP parking lot, scoot straight in front of the school to the roundabout (stay to the right both directions!) and head over to the track for a lap around! Once you've finished your lap, head back out the way you came to the roundabout, then out the parking lot the way you came in, bang a left and run to the corner where you'll take a right and head back up the multi-use pathway.  Watch for head-on runners and share the path!  Then you will turn right onto Town Green Rd and back to the start. For those who wish to know, this is a stroller-friendly route!

The Kids Fun Run will be held first at 9:30am at the Town Green at the top of 740 Colonel Ledyard.  Come early to cheer the kids!
