Lake Community Hope 5k and Fun Run

The 3rd annual Lake Community Hope 5k run/walk and fun run will be on 8/23/26. This event will occur in the Lake Community with the partnership of the Lake Community YMCA, to raise money for the Lake Community Hope Scholarship Fund in Memory of Melissa, Renee, Amber and Evan.

This year we will feature a new course route and the opportunity for more sponsors and vendors to participate. The 5k is designed for both competitive runners, joggers, power walkers and those just out for a stroll. The 5k will feature a chip timing system.

The fun run is great for younger kiddos and those that want to participate but also want to cheer on the 5k event or even volunteer.

Shirt: The first 200 people to register will receive a unisex shirt. -Youth Small to Large -Adult Small to 3X-Large -No shirt option - "No shirt for me please. I'd like to donate the cost of my shirt to the scholarship."

Early Packet Pickup: Will be at the Uniontown Lions Festival (Hartville Marketplace and Flea Market) August 19-22 from 6-8pm 1289 Edison St. NW, Hartville, OH 44632

Event Day Packet Pickup: Will be near the start line which will be located behind the Lake Community YMCA from 6:30-7:30am 428 King Church Ave SW, Hartville, OH 44632 (by tennis courts)

Schedule: 6:30-7:30 AM - Event Day Packet Pickup/Registration 7:45 AM - Opening Ceremony and Announcements 8:00 AM - Fun Run Starts 8:10 AM - 5K Starts 9:00 AM - Awards Ceremony

Awards: 5K Run/Walk Top 3 Overall Men & Women Top 3 Men & Women in the following age groups 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+
