From the organizer
Join us on Monday, May 25, 2026 for the third year of the Lake City Memorial Day 5k & 1 Mile Road Race. The run is hosted by the Lake City High School and Middle School cross country teams, and it will be timed by Rotpac Racing .
All participants will receive a finisher medal.
Additional awards:
The first female and male finishers in the mile race will each receive a winner's medal. The first female and male finishers in the 5k race will each receive a gift card to the running store Fleet Feet in Traverse City and other locations. The top three female and top three male finishers in each age will receive age-group medals. Age groups for the 5k run include: 13 years and under 14 - 19 years 20 - 29 years 30 - 39 years 40 - 49 years 50 - 59 years 60 - 69 years 70 years and up
All proceeds will go to the Lake City High School and Middle School cross country program.
Runners who register before Monday, May 11 will receive an event t-shirt. Extra t-shirts may be available for purchase for registrants after May 11 and non-participants.
