The course

From the organizer

The Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma will be hosting its 5th Annual 5K for Kappie! This event is being held in honor of our late sorority sister, Catherine Williams, who passed away on June 2nd, 2020 after a courageous 13-month battle with osteosarcoma. Catherine Williams was 18 years old, and a recent graduate of North Atlanta High School. She was admitted to and excited to attend the University of Georgia in the fall of 2020. In the week before her death, Catherine accepted an early bid and was initiated into the Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma as a double legacy.

All proceeds from this event will go to CURE Childhood Cancer , a non-profit organization whose mission is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research while supporting patients and their families devastated by a childhood cancer diagnosis.

We look forward to this opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary life of Catherine Williams.
