From the organizer
The twelfth annual Jog for Jude, held in memory of Jude Zayac who suddenly and tragically passed away on July 23rd, 2014 from S.I.D.S. (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), is the area's only 5k race raising awareness and funds for S.I.D.S. research.
This year's race will be an evening run on Saturday, and the evening's festivities will be capped off by a community celebration.
Race Date : Saturday, April 18 @ 6:30pm
***Participants who sign up on or before April 4th will receive a race T-shirt.
Race Location : Dunmore Community Center
Races : Timed 5K Run ( map ) or Fun Run/Walk
Packet Pickup: You will be able to pick up your race packets on Friday, April 17 from 5-7 at the Dunmore Community Center. If you cannot make it during that time, you will be able to get them on Saturday before the race.
Awards : The Overall Male and Female Champions will receive trophies and prizes, along with medals awarded to the top male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male/female finishers ages 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
This is a Rain or Shine event! All registrations are final and non-refundable. If, for any reason, you are unable to submit a time for the event, your registration fee will be considered a donation to the charity.
