TRANSITION CLINIC & Q&A

Friday 5:30pm-7pm at Rockport Pool
Sometimes switching from swimming to biking and biking to running can be confusing. What do you do with your bike? How do you put on shoes?
These questions and more will be answered during our Transition Clinic Q&A. Attendance is not mandatory but is encouraged and FREE (courtesy of Velocity Multi-Sport & Cycling).
The Transition Clinic will be held during Packet Pick Up from 5:30-6:30pm and the Q&A will be held after Packet Pick Up from 6:30-7pm.
Racers are free to attend both or just one.
Please bring your gear including your bike, helmet, swim suit, shoes and whatever else you have.
You will be able to get in the pool, ride through the course, and run the path.

AWARDS

Medals given to the top 3 finishers in each age group

Packet Pick-Up

Friday, August 21st 5:30pm-6:30pm at Peace Park Pavilion
Saturday, August 22nd 7:30am-8:30am at Peace Park Pavilion

RULES

One parent per child may assist with transition area setup. No additional children or parents will be allowed in the transition area.
We will have volunteers to assist with transition area set up as well as swim-to-bike and bike-to-run transitions for all ages.
Parents are discouraged from walking/running along the bike and run courses along side their children.
Instead, they are encouraged to find a stationary location to take pictures and encourage their children.

If our minimum athletes of 50 is not reached by August 4th then the event will be cancelled.
Late registration and race day registration will not be allowed.
