57th Annual Jambalaya Festival 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
When: Saturday, May 23, 2026
Time: 7:00 AM - Registration /Sign In
8:00 AM - 1 Mile Fun Run - "Kids Run" Start
8:30 AM - 5K Run Start

Please be aware that the race has moved to the Lamar Dixon Expo Center located at 9039 S. St. Landry Ave., Gonzales, LA.
Event Details:
Entrants will receive a free T-shirt and free jambalaya at the after party – Run and after party is through the grounds of the Lamar Dixon Expo Center – Music, cooking, party atmosphere - This is a flat, fast course!
5K Teams will consist of 3 team members. The captain will create the Team Name and the members will join the Team.
Note - T-shirts are not guaranteed for those who register after 5/01/2026
Registration Fees:
Till May 23rd - $25 for the 5K, $15 for the 1 Mile and $30 for both the 5K & 1 Mile
Packet Pickup (Location, Date & Time):
Race day sign in starting at 7am at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center located at 9039 S. St. Landry Ave., Gonzales.
1 mile Fun Run - "Kids Run" AWARDS:
1st, 2nd, 3rd place medals for Male & Female - overall and age categories 1-4, 5-10 and 11-15
5K Awards: Top Overall Male & Female – 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each group Male & Female
Age Groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 till 70+
Team awards are 1st and 2nd place medals for teams with lowest total time.
