From the organizer

The City of Goose Creek Police Department is hosting the 6th annual Hot Pursuit 5K. The race will be held on June 13th at 8:00 am , starting at the Goose Creek Municipal Complex. It will traverse paved hiker/biker trails and roadways before returning to the municipal center. A half-mile KIDS RUN follows the path around the lake, a FREE event for children. The kids' race will start at 7:30 am.

For EARLY packet pickup, head to the Goose Creek Police Department lobby, located at 519 N. Goose Creek Blvd., Goose Creek, SC 29445, on Friday, June 12th between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm. Packet pickup and race day registration will be available from 6:00 am until 7:30 am on the day of the race at the same location.

Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 19 or younger, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. There will be prizes for the top three male and female finishers in each age group, and the first 500 runners to finish the race will receive a finisher's medal.

Please note that finisher medals will be given ONLY to the first 500 runners who cross the finish line. Also, T-shirts are guaranteed only for participants who register online. Selecting the correct size during registration is essential, as shirts CANNOT be exchanged after ordering.

The proceeds from the event will go directly towards organizing the Goose Creek Police Department's sponsored events, such as Shop with a Badge and Operation Christmas Joy.
