Home Run 5K

The 10th annual Home Run 5K supports the children served through various Children’s Home programs. The Free Will Baptist Children’s Home provides caring, supportive homes for youth in and aging out of foster care in our Alternative Family Placement, Family Foster Care & amp; Adoptions, and Thrive Independent Living programs.

The course starts and ends in the center of campus, taking runners through the campus and surrounding farmland and consists of several small hills.

$30 per participant (pre-registration)

$40 per participant (day-of registration)

Group pricing available when registering online as a group of 6 or more.

Awards

• Top 3 Overall Female Finishers
• Top 3 Overall Male Finishers
• Top 3 Male and Female in the following age categories:  Under 10, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ 

Award for the largest group of registered participants. To be eligible for the largest group award, your group must register online during the pre-registration window. Not available for day-of registration.

Giveaway
Register by April 15 to receive a Home Run 5K short sleeve t-shirt.

Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up and check-in will be held Saturday, May 2, 2025, from 8:00-8:45am in Heritage Hall on the Children’s Home campus. Race begins promptly at 9:00am. Please give yourself ample time to park and walk across campus to the check-in location.

Parking Details

Follow signs and parking crew directions. Parking is across campus from the check-in location and the start/finish line. Please give yourself amply time to park and walk across campus. Please use Children’s Home Rd to enter campus from Hwy 231; Buck Deans Rd from Hwy 231 to campus will be closed at 8:45.

Other Details
Strollers are welcome.
Bicycles and skateboards are not allowed on the course.
Pets are not allowed at the race site or on the course.
Unclaimed shirts will not be held or mailed to participants who are not present at the
race.
