From the organizer
The Hualapai Mountain Park 3rd Annual Replenish and Restore 5k & 10k walk/run is a multi-surface race that is perfect for trail runners looking for a new challenge and road runners looking for a change of pace and scenery. You'll see beautiful views of Hualapai Mountain Park on this race with elevation gains of 530+ feet. The walk/run will encompass the whole developed park with the race running through Pine Basin, Recreation Area #1, Recreation Area #2, Summer Camp Loop and Cabin Loop.
All proceeds from the walk/run go to the purchase of trees and native brush to replenish the park after the devastating Flag Mine fire that occurred in 2021, burning more than 1,400 acres.
Hualapai Mountain Park was first developed during the early 1930's by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). Cabins and recreation areas that were constructed during this time are still in use today. However, these structures are in need of upkeeping and updating. Hualapai Mountain Park is a self-funded park, making this task difficult to accomplish without your contribution.
