The inaugural Greenford Ruritan Memorial Day 5K, 1-Mile Walk & Kids Fun Run takes place on Monday, May 25th, 2026, at Greenford Christian Church.

- The 5K & 1-Mile Walk begin at 8:00am.  The 5K is professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.

- The Kids Fun Run (ages 13 & Under) takes place at 8:45am.  The Kids Fun Run is 1/4 mile in distance.

- The start/finish line for all events is located in front of Big Reach Center of Hope (which is located across the parking lot from Greenford Christian Church.

- Restrooms are available inside of Greenford Christian Church.

- All events will take place before the Memorial Day parade which begins at 9:00am.

Participants in all events receive a commemorative finisher medal. Participants in the 5K & 1-Mile Walk receive a participant shirt. Participants in the Kids Fun Run can purchase a shirt additionally. - Proceeds from the 5K & 1-Mile benefit the township cemeteries.

- Proceeds from the Kids Fun Run benefit the Greenford Community Library.
