The Backyard Boogie is presented by Bozeman Running Company, supporting local running organizations and clubs in the Gallatin Valley during the annual GIVE BIG event! 100% of registration proceeds support the below organizations split evenly among all. Runners, after you register for a time window, you can make additional donations by selecting the club/group of your choice and sharing your fundraiser with your friends and family.

Mission: Bring the Gallatin Valley running community together, rally to raise funds supporting our local running organizations, and increase club and organization awareness to grow the sport and community for all ages and levels.

Local Clubs & Organizations

Bozeman Distance Project: 501(c)3 set up to foster high school athletes in the Gallatin Valley, supporting them in funding extracurricular activities. It partners with local youth cross-country teams and clubs, sending them to competitive meets, providing uniforms, and funding other running-related programs.

Raptor Run Crew:

Bozeman Track Club: 501(c)(3) non-profit organization since 1995, introducing area youth to the lifelong sport of running. BTC operates Cross Country and Track and Field programs that are low cost and welcome to everyone! The club also recently launched a Trail Running program for extra keen athletes. Their skilled coaches and parent volunteers are excited to continue to accommodate the community's growth with a spot for every runner/thrower/jumper! Increasing travel costs to competitions is their number one funding hurdle.

Big Sky Wind Drinkers:

Bozeman Run Club: Bozeman Run Club is a free community run group that meets every Saturday morning at rotating locations with a goal to create a safe and supportive space that’s inclusive of all abilities, plus foster appreciation and respect for Bozeman trails.

Women in Ultrarunning (Bozeman MT Chapter): 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designed to help welcome more women into the sport of ultrarunning in a dynamic and inclusive way. Aimed at increasing female involvement in the sport through fostering a supportive community, and providing tools to enhance accessibility to ultrarunning.

Location: MAP Brewing / Glen Lake Rotary Park Time: 6pm 4/31 thru 6pm 5/1

Event Participation: Sign up for any event you wish to participate in, and show up at any time during the time window for that event. For example, the Burger Blitz takes place from 12:00pm - 2:00pm, and you may show up at any time to run or walk during that window.

Course: 2-3 mile loop (mix of gravel trail and asphalt) marked with cones.

Open to all individuals looking to support our local running clubs! Run, walk, or jog any length at your own pace.
