Frightful 5K and Pumpkin 1K

Join us Sunday, October 25, 2026 for the 10th Annual Frightful 5K & Pumpkin 1K presented by the City of Troy! The USATF certified course will start and finish at the Troy Community Center located at 3179 Livernois Rd., Troy, Michigan. The 5K route runs onto Big Beaver Rd. and Civic Center Campus. Spooky, creative, and funny costumes encouraged! Age appropriate results, t-shirt, and finishers medal included. Shirt sizes not guaranteed. All ages welcome!

The Frightful 5K will start at 8:30 am and the Pumpkin 1K Fun Run will start at 9:30 am. Register as an EARLY BIRD for best pricing!

5K Pricing: August 3 - October 11       $25 October 12 - 24                 $35 Race Day                          $45

1K Pricing: August 3 - October 24       $10 Race Day                           $20

1K SAFE FUN:  1K will be run in 3 time slots 5 minutes apart starting at 9:30 am.  Each 1K time slot will be limited to 50 participants.  Registrants will choose their time slot based on availability during the check out process.  To lessen congestion and make for a safe and fun experience please line up for your chosen time.

Packet pick-up will be at the Troy Community Center front desk (south main entrance) on the dates below:

Friday, October 23           8 am - 5 pm Saturday, October 24     8 am - 12 pm

Race Day Schedule:

Registration and packet pick-up available at the Troy Community Center front desk (south main entrance) from 7 - 8 am. 5K starts at 8:30 am *no late starts permitted due to scheduled road closure

1K corrals start at 9:30 am, 9:35 am and 9:40 am
