Weather snapshot (AI-assisted text)

Held in April in Joplin, Missouri, you can generally expect mild spring weather. Temperatures could range from cool mornings to comfortably warm by race time. It's wise to check the forecast closer to the date, but typically, April offers pleasant conditions for running and walking.

Terrain & course feel (AI-assisted text)

Given the mention of a "USTAF Certified Course" for the 5K, it's highly probable that both the 5K and the 1-Mile Walk will take place on paved roads or pathways. You can likely expect a relatively flat or gently rolling course, typical for a city-based 5K designed for certification.
