The Norwegian Foot March is a Norwegian military traditional event where soldiers ruck 30km with a minimum of 25lbs (dry weight) rucks on their back within a designated time according to age and gender. This event will be held by Central Washington Army ROTC at the John Wayne Trailhead going through the night of May 1st into May 2nd, participants who complete the event within time will receive an official Norwegian Foot March badge and certificate. Participants may be military or civilian so long as they are above 18 with appropriate attire and ruck.
Attire for military personnel is their respected uniform according to regulation. Civilians are permitted to wear a long sleeve shirt, cargo/tactical pants, and boots appropriate for ruck marches. Both are required to bring a ruck with 25lbs dry weight and a headlamp with red lens capability (the light on the headlamp shines red).
