This vibrant community event — hosted by the Women’s Council of REALTORS® – Lansing Network — brings together neighbors, families, and local businesses for a morning of color, fun, and community impact.

Whether you choose to run, walk, roll, or cheer from the sidelines , your participation supports a mission that strengthens local business leadership and deepens community connection. This fun-run is open to participants of all ages and abilities. Chip timing is provided for those wanting to compete with themselves for a new PR. Otherwise walkers, runners and rollers are welcome to join us for good vibes and to celebrate pops of color along the route!

Why Join Us? 🌟 Fun for everyone – Run, walk, or roll through colorful zones that make every step exciting. 💪 Celebrate community – Connect with family, friends, neighbors, local professionals, and a love for Lansing. 🎽 Swag & Keepsakes – Every participant will receive a Color Pop 5K t-shirt and a finisher medal to remember the day. 🥤 Refreshments will be provided. 🤝 Support a cause – Your involvement helps raise funds for VFW National Home in Eaton Rapids. 📍 Event Details 📅 Date: Saturday, April 11, 2026 📍 Location: Hawk Island Park 🕘 Start Time: Race kicks off at 9:00 AM 💲 Registration: $35 pricing available through March 28. Prices increase to $40 on March 29. Kids pricing is available for ages 6-12.

Sign up by March 15 to guarantee your race shirt size. After that, shirt sizes may be in limited quantities.

Fundraising: start a fundraiser with your registration, share your fundraiser with family and friends, raise $250 and your race registration will be refunded back to you! Bring your friends, family, coworkers, and pets, and celebrate movement, color, and community. Whether you’re there to get your heart pumping or to spread joy and cheer, the Color Pop 5K Fun Run is the perfect way to welcome spring and show your love for our Lansing community! 🌈

Additional Information Check-in will begin at 8:00 AM prior to the race at Hawk Island in the Red Tail Pavilion.

Parking fee will be added to your registration upon checkout. Show your email confirmation/registration or race bib upon entering the park. If you have an Ingham County Parking Pass, please reach out to us at micommunityevents1@gmail.com before registering.

Results: Your accurate chip time and current overall and age group place will be texted to your phone and live on this site. Timing done by Michigan Running Foundation.

Age Groups: Under 14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, 80+.

Policies: No shows will forfeit their shirt and medal. Registrations are nonrefundable but may be transferred to a different participant.
