From the organizer
The Colony Parks and Recreation Department and The Colony Roadrunners Club present the 24th annual Coach Cox's Kids Race by the Lake. Children ages 9 and under will compete in a half mile race, while children ages 10-12 run a one mile course. All participants will receive a ribbon and goody bag. Race t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 250 registered participants.
The races will begin promptly at 8:00am. We recommend that ALL participants arrive at Stewart Creek Park no later than 7:30am. Vehicle access to the park will be closed at 7:45am. There will be an organized warm-up for all participants at 7:30am. Results will be calculated and presented as soon as possible following the conclusion of the last race.
Packet pick up will be Thursday 4/9 and Friday 4/10 6:30am - 9pm at The Colony Recreation Center, 5151 N Colony Blvd The Colony. Any packets not picked up will be available on race day for pickup.
