Register today for the 2nd Annual A Brighter Day 5K & Family Walk, a fun, family-friendly 5K run/walk in Saint Paul, MN supporting Children’s Law Center of Minnesota (CLC).
Whether you’re a seasoned runner, casual walker, or participating with family and friends, this event offers a meaningful way to stay active while making a difference. All proceeds support CLC’s work providing free legal representation to youth in foster care, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected.
Enjoy a scenic 5K course around beautiful Lake Phalen, a welcoming community atmosphere, and a powerful opportunity to support children and youth in need.

Children’s Law Center of Minnesota provides free legal representation to children and youth in foster care, ensuring they have a voice in court and someone standing in their corner. By becoming a fundraiser, you help make sure more youth receive the advocacy and support they deserve.
Most participants raise $100–$250 simply by sharing their fundraising page with friends and family.

📢 In case of inclement weather on May 16, 2026, participants will be notified of any changes. If needed, all participants will have the option to complete the event virtually. The decision to cancel the in-person run and walk or not will be made by using our Inclement Weather Policy as a guideline.

Registration Pricing
$30 through April 19, 2026 (11:59 PM CDT) $40 starting April 20, 2026 $50 on race day *Kids ages 12 and older must register to participate. Ages 11 and under do not need to register but will not receive a bib number or t-shirt.
